Harness Integration Manager (HIM) is a software product that comprehensively supports exchange and synchronization of harness design data between supported ECAD and MCAD systems.

HIM overview

The main aspect is to resolve the challenges of harness design in an early stage of development and in those systems where changes can be done efficiently. The HIM approach leads to an easier and faster development process by focusing on the harness basics using bundle orientated topology creation.

HIM can be used in different ways. As guide through the electrical design process, regarding topology and 3D creation and also as simple harness data extractor from existing 3D harness designs. This depends on the applied methodology – in any case HIM provides a bidirectional bridge between your ECAD system and your MCAD system.

On ECAD side HIM is currently supporting the following systems: EBCable, KABI and LDorado. On MCAD side HIM is currently linked to  CATIA V5.
